Green Whisper is a French company that produces 100% sustainable textiles made from waste banana stem fibres, in turn giving second life to agricultural waste and supporting local farming communities. The company aims to use banana stem fibres to solve the issue of agricultural waste burning and dumping and to provide sustainable fabric alternatives to cotton and oil and plastic based synthetic fibres. Green Whisper® gives a second life to the tree trunks by converting the fibres into yarns which provide an additional revenue to farmers and create local employment.
